Butterfly Release Boxes
All boxes are printed on high quality #140 card stock. The color on the boxes is close to white, but has a "gray fleck" tone to it. Up close and in hand, it has an elegant coloring. It is a triangular shaped box style that is die cut and ready to be used. Butterflies like to have enough room to hang with their wings folded and free, so we designed these boxes to provide enough room to keep them fresh & in good condition. Paper envelopes or "tiny" boxes simply do not keep monarchs in good enough condition. These are very professional quality boxes.
The front side of this custom-designed box has a butterfly emblem with open space for custom printing. The reverse side says:
"Caution - Live butterfly. To release, remove band and open carefully. Thank you."

This box will hold up to 6 monarch butterflies and is excellent for viewing and releasing purposes. Butterflies sold separately. Price: $5.95 per box. Shipping may vary, depending on how quickly you need them. We can quote shipping via email or over the phone. It's usually less than $10.

Price: $4.95 each - Minimum order is 10 chrysalis shipping containers.
This does not include the white outer shipping box. However, upon request, we will ship the matching white outer shipping box for an extra $1.50 per box. But, consider the fact that most box stores in almost any town will carry this very same box for approximately $.55 (only Swallowtail Farms, Inc. has the inner foam pieces). So, it may be more cost efficient to simply buy the phone inserts from us and obtain your own external box. The foam inserts are designed to fit into a 7.5" x 7.5" x 2" box. Generally, the 8"x 8" x 2" works the best, just to allow for a bit of breathing room. Again, you'll save money if you simply buy the foam from us and then buy the boxes at the local box store.
