This Monarch butterfly artificial diet is a dry instant mix which is ready to use by just adding water! One packet makes up to 600 ml of diet, which is enough to raise about 30-50 Monarch larvae from egg to adult. This same amount of diet can also rear about 400-600 caterpillars from egg to 3rd instar, which could be a tremendous time saver. A large percentage of only high quality A. curassavica milkweed powder is used in the mixture. The diet includes detailed instructions to provide maximum results. Once mixed, it can be stored in the refrigerator for at least one month. The dry mix will keep for over a year in the freezer.* |
