This is a custom built dry box for the serious handmade paper maker. Inside dimension is 24" x 36" and can easily dry up to 50 sheets of 18x24 or 100 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11. Heavy duty screw with crank allows for strong and even pressure to keep the sheets flat and uniform while drying. Included are pellon couch liners and archival quality double-wall cardboard.

A very unique and useful feature is that it has a hydraulic foot pump that can raise or lower the entire box by 2 feet. This is a great feature which will save your back from not having to bend over as you load the dry box. Also sits on 4 casters allowing for easier movement around your shop or studio.

This is a 22 drawer type cabinet with 22 cases of metal type. Cabinet is on wheels, making it easy to move around the shop. Metal type condition ranges from new and unused to used. Approximately 100 lbs of lead monotype in old Chinese Characters (about 18 pt. size). Sorted and stored in 5 cases. Although quite old and worn, there are still plenty that seem to print well (above sample was printed using a C&P Pilot table top press.)
